Entry Level Full Stack Developer

Ariadne Software® is looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to help us build, test, and deploy web applications for aiding in bioanalytical analysis. This is an exciting opportunity in Lawrence, KS, for those looking to expand upon their experience in software development with the chance to work in front-end and back-end development as well as serverless cloud infrastructure. A developer, with experience in one or more programming languages, who is looking to gain more real-world experience with consumer-facing full stack applications would be an excellent fit for this role.
Responsibilities
- As a front-end software developer, design, implement and test UI components and improve the user experience.
- As a back-end developer, implement new features and work with quality assurance to find and fix bugs and improve the functionality of applications.
- Work within an Agile development process to iteratively implement, document, test, and deploy changes to our application.
- Develop and deliver high-quality, well-tested code that meets the specified requirements using the technology chosen for the project.
- Work with Product Leaders to understand product requirements.
Desired Technical Skills
- Proficient with a high-level general purpose programming language (Python and/or JavaScript is a plus)
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and web technologies
- Experience in Angular (TypeScript) or another front-end framework
- Experience using git for version control
Bonus:
- Python visualization libraries such as Matplotlib/ Seaborn
- Python data engineering stack including libraries such as Numpy / Pandas
- Familiarity with NOSQL databases (DynamoDB)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and infrastructure-as-code
- Familiarity with DevOps (e.g., CI/CD, Git Actions)
Other Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in building web applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to reference verification and background check.
